North Korea Nuclear Deals

North Korea has recently tested two advanced short-range cruise missiles.  Once again, US defense agencies and US PresidentJoe Biden has strongly condemned North Korea's move.  Not only that, but a meeting of top US, Japanese, and South Korean diplomats was held in the US state of Virginia, in which US National Security Adviser Jack Sloan said in a joint statement that, Japan and South Korea will jointly keep a check on North Korea.  The statement did not provide further details.

US defense advisers say countries around the Korean Peninsula are most at risk and should cooperate with the United States.  The United States and other countries have many reservations about North Korea, such as the fact that since January 2020, North Korea has closed its borders on all sides.

North Korea's position is that there are no corona patients in the country or anywhere else in the country, while North Korean hackers have been trying to steal corona disease and its vaccine data from the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer.  The Pfizer vaccine is the most effective in the world and can cure up to 96%.  The U.S. Defense Department recently assigned a team of hackers to retrieve data that North Korea has stolen from Pfizer computers.

US Air Force Chief of Staff General Galen Vaughan has submitted a written statement to the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations stating that North Korea continues to develop nuclear weapons in violation of UN resolutions and sanctions.  He is also promoting the IBM Modern Missiles program.  North Korea is said to be working on two programs simultaneously, one on long-range ballistic missiles and the other on short-range cruise missiles.

U.S. security advisers also say the missile tests are meant to put pressure on the United States after President Joe Biden takes office. US President Joe Biden, in a recent press briefing, criticized former President Donald Trump's policies, saying he had held three rounds of talks with North Korean President Jong-UN. "We are in love with each other," he said.

President Biden said such statements encouraged North Korea, but President Trump did not take the issue seriously.  But we and others are doing it.  He described the trilateral alliance of the United States, Japan, and South Korea as a matter of region and time.

When former President Trump held talks with North Korean President Kim Jong Un, Western diplomats said that if President Bush, President Clinton, and President Obama could not win at the negotiating table with North Korea, then where does President Trump stand?  His statements may sound good diplomatically or temporarily, but President Trump has not seriously considered that the issue is serious and urgent, not just temporary.  North Korean President Kim Jong Un's policy is worrying.  They have repeatedly threatened to fire missiles at the United States.

Incidentally, during During World War II, Japan occupied most of the Far East.  The US forces were already active in the region, so the Soviet Union, ie Russia, also dropped its troops in the region. In the Korean War, the US on one side and the Soviet Union entered Korea on the other side let’s face it, North Korea and South Korea was divided.

President Kim Jong-un Policy

President Kim Jong-un Policy

A revolutionary socialist government was formed in the north and a US-backed government in the south.  After the partition of Korea, North Korea's first revolutionary leader, Kim Il Sung, came to power. He died of a heart attack in 1994.  His son Kim Jong Il took power and Kim Il Sung was mourned for three years.  Kim Jong Il also died of a heart attack in 2011.  Immediately, his son, Kim Jong-UN, announced the formation of his government and continued to know his father's "Military First" policy.  North Korea's revolutionary government has been authoritarian from the beginning.  Economy, politics, and society are bound.

The total number of North Korean regular forces and paramilitary volunteers are about 95 million, which is 38 percent of the country's total population.  North Korea's first nuclear explosion in March 2006 has led to the development of nuclear weapons.  South Korea is a key US ally in the Far East.  In contrast to North Korea's revolutionary socialists, modern capitalism, a democratic state was formed, and South Korea made great strides, while North Korea is said to have poverty, backwardness, and unemployment.  Has been made a closed state.

But North Korean President Kim Jong-UN denies all such reports.  His position is that capitalist exploitative forces continue to criticize and propagate North KoreaNorth Korea's state structure and politics are in line with socialist ideology, but the West does not like it at all, so they speak against us.  The United States and the United Nations have imposed various economic and trade sanctions on North Korea, but North Korea has ignored them and has been receiving aid from China.

North Korea is at the forefront of US foreign policy and defense affairs.  The Pacific and South China Sea region is home to the largest gathering of the US and Chinese forces in what is being called the world's most sensitive region.  In this regard, too, North Korea is very important to China.

In view of North Korea's nuclear policy, Japan amended its constitution seventy years later to allow Japan to send its troops abroad, but the bill was quickly passed by the Japanese parliament.  North Korea issued a stern statement accusing the Japanese government's defense bill of renewing Japanese aggression and anarchism that could threaten not only peace in the region but also the world peace.

The Japanese parliamentarians have argued that while China is increasing its defense capabilities, North Korea is testing nuclear bombs and IBM missiles, not only in the region.  The peace of India and even world peace is under serious threat.

In addition, the gathering of Chinese forces in the South China Sea, the construction of artificial islands and Chinese defense bases are of concern to neighboring countries.  In this regard, the United States, Japan, and ASEAN countries have been expressing their deep concern.  Now that the United States has proposed a trilateral alliance between Japan and South Korea, which the United States currently consider necessary for the security of the region, talks in this regard is likely to move forward.

The fact is that The United States has also increased its military presence in the South China Sea due to the intensification of military activities between China and North Korea over the past few years in the Asia-Pacific.

Countries in the region do not see this as a good omen. They believe that this western part of the Pacific Ocean is getting worse.  Even if an accident happens, it can change the whole situation.  It should be noted that the North Korean envoy was also invited to the joint meeting of European countries and the United States in Sweden in 2017.  His position was that a meeting between the top leadership of the United States and North Korea was necessary before the talks could begin.

But a few months later, North Korea detonated a nuclear device.  There are also indications that the United States is targeting all major cities in North Korea.  But China has insisted on lifting sanctions on North Korea.  The State Department said North Korea has always had good relations with China and Russia, but the two countries have not fulfilled their obligations.
