Have a friendship with the Books
When a person reaches the height of consciousness, he
acquires knowledge and needs a book to determine the stages of knowledge. The
book is man's best friend. But alas, in today's modern age, the book has been
replaced by the mobile phone.
It is important to encourage the new generation to read and
be friends with the book
We are moving away from our best friend and the best
companion of loneliness. The book trains our moral and social and we give more
importance to mobile which not only benefits us but also harms us a lot. But
our today's youth Instead of taking advantage of the book, generation is
lost in the colors of mobile instead of reading and learning it.
Today, mobile is considered a part of personality instead of
a necessity. One may or may not have a wealth of knowledge, but it is necessary
to have the most expensive mobile phone. While a book costs only a few hundred
rupees. It is a matter of time before the new generation is attracted to the
book.
Readers are the leaders
The Holy Qur'an states that those who know and those who do
not know can never be equal, but those who know are seen and those who do not
know are compared to the blind. Why Muslims in general and we in particular are
moving away from the Pakistani book, the short reasons for it, poverty,
unemployment due to which the average Pakistani spends his whole life in this
cycle.
There has also been a
drastic decline. On the other hand, knowledgeable people are unemployed and the
government does not sponsor knowledge. Then, individually, we have become so
ugly that we usually consider reading Books as a waste of time.
In our country, Books are considered useless. In our
homes, there are not even a few books in the library. In our
country, those who buy and read Books are ridiculed. He is called a
lunatic, a bookworm, a lunatic. On the one hand, the literacy rate in Pakistan
is low and on the other hand, book reading has come down due to inflation. The
importance of the book has also been affected by the use of modern methods of
computers, the internet, and mobile phones. If the subject is good, the book is
still bought and read today. More Books of poetry are published in
Pakistan, and their poetry too. It is not worth it, so the tendency is low.
The number of readers of Books written on serious subjects in
Pakistan is less than in other countries and then the number of Books
written on philosophy, history, psychology, and science is almost non-existent.
The solution should be found in the form of translations of Books
in other languages. Lack of library is one of the main reasons for distance
from Books
in Pakistan.
Due to the growing influence of the internet and electronic media
in Pakistani society, book buyers have seen a decline. The promotion of Books
in Pakistan has not been a priority of any government. In Europe, Books
are very important. People here prefer to read books while traveling, in
the waiting room, and in their spare time.
Writing and Printing of Books
In Pakistan, first of all, it is difficult to write Books,
then even if they are written, it is the most difficult to publish them. I have
seen that if you write a book, it is free, or a gift is asked, not to know by
spending a little money. The same percentage of writers are printing Books
out of their own pockets and distributing them among friends. In Pakistan, it
is not possible to pass the time just by writing Books.
The development of any society, nation, and country depend
on knowledge. And on the book of knowledge, history bears witness to this, the
rise of Greece and then Muslims when the world from which Muslims were buying Books
and translating them, today you see there is book-friendliness in the West,
this That is why today the West is called developed. As we know, book reading
in Pakistan has been declining for the last 30 years.
According to a survey, 42% of Books in Pakistan are religious, 32% general knowledge or general knowledge, 36% fiction, and 07% poetry. Due to their distance from Books, the younger generation has become unfamiliar with their Islamic, political, religious culture and literature. According to a report, there are piles of books in the shops. But there is no one to read them, while only 19% of the young generation is interested in reading Books. More than 60% of the population is attracted to the Internet, Facebook and Twitter.
World Book Day is celebrated on April 23 every year all over
the world including Pakistan. This day started in Spain in 1616. In 1995, the
General Council of UNESCO declared April 23 as "World Book Day". We
consider it against our dignity to celebrate a day that benefits the nation. It
promotes the same culture. It proves how much we value our future and our
culture, country, Islam. How much I love language.
Reading Books not only saves a person's time
but also proves to be a sorrowful and helpful one. If one is not blessed with
blessings, then the book itself comes to light as a ray of hope in the darkness
and a man emerges from the darkness and comes to the light and begins to
understand himself in this light.
It takes time to take such steps to read Books. We should create
an environment in our homes that makes everyone, including the children in the
family, interested in reading and befriend the book. Parents should set an
example by studying for themselves. Mentioning good Books in your circle of
friends should arouse interest by reading, commenting, analyzing. Our
publishing houses now have to take care of one thing that they publish standard
Books
as well as cheap Books, if this does not happen. Disappointed, our generation
will again be lost in the gloom of the Global Village and it will be difficult
to find it.
