China and Iran Deal
This is the largest comprehensive and long-term agreement of the third decade of the 21st century. The first question is whether Iran needed such an agreement. The answer to this question is not easy, but it can be said that Iran was in dire need of investment, the Iranian economy was estimated to be hollow. Unemployment, inflation, and inflation were rising sharply in the country.
There was growing anxiety, frustration, and boredom among the people. Every revolution, be it political, economic, ethnic, religious, or linguistic, has a time when it shines brightly. Every revolution in history has gone through this stage.
At this stage, the ruling class is worried about how to run the people on its own, then the upper
class will come up with new slogans. China made such a big decision
considering the current situation in Iran that it took advantage of the situation in Iran and the region and made such an attractive offer that Iran
had no room for denial or reconsideration and the agreement was reached.
With the announcement of this agreement, there has been a stir in the Western houses. A spokesman for the US administration immediately said that the details of the agreement were being released and that Iran and China had tried to escape by issuing only superficial statements.
What could be hidden in the foothills? Questions from the Western media will also be pre-determined. Because in today's age of information technology, the news of the underworld is received, while this agreement is an agreement between two countries with a population of more than one and a half billion, how can it remain hidden?
According to China, there are two reasons for Iran. The first is Iran's location and the second is Iran's oil. The second question is whether Iran can benefit from such a broad and long-term agreement while living around it. This question may seem irrelevant, but it should be seen as Iran or China can do everything but change their neighbors.
Especially in the region where Iran is located, its relations with a few countries have been strained. Thus, there are some active groups in the region that have the financial, political, spiritual and support of Iran. In the changing circumstances, will these groups leave their ranks and separate? Will they be provided with new uniforms?
Under the agreement, China will invest 400 billion in Iran over 25 years, and China will buy cheap oil from Iran as an alternative. This is the largest comprehensive and long-term agreement of the third decade of the 21st century
Iranian port of Chabahar
If Iran supports or opposes the policy of the countries, will it be able to maintain its status in the new situation? For example, India has invested in the Iranian port of Chabahar and developed the port and related infrastructure. Now that the time has come to benefit from this port, the Sino-Iranian agreement is on the horizon. So there are many more such issues, so what will Iran do about it?
The third question is whether China will only be concerned with economic, trade, and other issues, or whether it will be concerned with the surrounding events and political tides. If the relationship continues, then it is as clear as day that such a move could lead to unrest in the Middle East and South Asia.
The fourth question is how the 400 billion investment over 25 years can benefit Iran in this way. The answer to this question seems so simple that benefit is a benefit. If such a large amount of money is spent on Iran's development in Iran, then the benefit will go to Iran.
If this answer is accepted
as correct, then the side question arises as to what China will get by spending
such a large amount of money. The simpler the question, the more complex
the answer. Examples are Sri Lanka, Maldives, and a few African
countries.
The militia had turned away halfway. It is worth noting that the golden net of investment and its miracles have been witnessed by the world over the past two and a half centuries.
Lend money to the needy and tell him what he wants to buy from my shop. Thus, a significant portion of the loaned money was sold to his own property and returned to his pocket with a profit. The needy went home happy.
Couldn't repay the loan on time, no problem, just pay interest now. And this golden net grows like amber. The investment that is currently being made in this classic method of investing is at the forefront.
The investment is made, the material, machinery, other accessories of the road bridge power plant which is being constructed will be purchased from the investor country, then the experts and laborers of the same country will also work, with the same investment their Wages will continue to be paid. In the end, the inspectors' fees and other expenses will be met accordingly.
In this way, the broken-down investment will continue to flow back into the investor's pocket. The debtor will continue to be charged with interest. If the investor has set some additional conditions while giving the loan, then it will also be implemented. In such a case, where will the debtor stand?
The Iranian government and its spokesman are saying in the media that China's huge investment in Iran is in a way a victory for Iran. While the first draft of the agreement or its highlights came out, most of Iran's political circles were openly expressing their reservations about the agreement.
Former Iranian President Ahmadinejad has also expressed reservations about the deal. So far, most concerns have been expressed in Iranian political and social circles. However, the official position is clear.
If the Iranian government has accepted this agreement, then what will happen? Because Iran would have sought to fulfill some of its long-held dreams through this agreement and would have added some new dreams to it.
An important and sensitive aspect of this whole scenario is that ideologically China is clear in its socialist ideology and the Chinese Communist Party, which has no state religion and does not believe in any religion according to its manifesto, then in the Western media. In Xinjiang province, there are reports of mistreatment of Chinese Muslims, with large numbers of Muslims trapped in concentration camps.
They are forced to work. In fact, the Chinese province of Xinjiang was part of the Ottoman Empire. After the Ottoman Caliphate, China occupied the area. It was called South Turkestan. It is inhabited by a large number of Turkish Muslims and Chinese Muslims.
The province shares a border with Pakistan and is a common China-Pakistan corridor. It should be noted that these days the news of Muslims is common in the Western media which is strongly rejected by the Chinese government. In any case, a significant number of Muslims live in China and adhere to their religion and traditions. On the other hand, Iran, where the Islamic Revolutionary Government has been established for the last half a century.
The internal politics of the states are one thing and the foreign policy is another. Nothing is final in politics and state interests. Slogans change as needed, attitudes and opinions change, governments change but interests do not change. Yes, there can be changes in the way it is achieved.
While the recent sino-Iranian deal has shocked one world, India, a key country in the region, is feeling the pinch. The first position taken by India in this regard has come to the fore in which India expressed frustration and said that it was tantamount to besieging India.
If looked at in-depth and tested on the ground, the deal will have the biggest impact on India. The hopes and expectations that India had attached to the Iranian port of Chabahar do not seem to be fulfilled after this agreement. China does not want a war with India in any way, but it knows how to put a thumbs up on all its aching veins. That is why India is more concerned.
Iranian opposition groups have called the Sino-Iranian deal a matter of concern over Iran's sovereignty. But despite their concerns about the deal, the circles blame the short-sightedness, overconfidence, and distance from Western leaders on the deal in part. Former US President Trump made a big mistake by unilaterally canceling the US-Iran nuclear deal with Iran under Israeli pressure.
These circles believe that Western leaders have caused Iran so much trouble that it has agreed to a deal with China. While the Chinese leaders kept in view the situation in the region, Iran's problems, and the policy of the Western leaders towards Iran and took advantage of it in time.
Iran was an ideal country in every way among the founders of the Middle East, the Gulf, and The Arabian Sea, and Chinese diplomacy has been 100 percent successful here.
The New York Times called Iran deal a game-changer. The paper writes that the 18-page document outlines an investment of 400 billion, which suggests that China will build airports, ports, railways, highways, power plants, telecommunications, and dams in Iran over the next 25 years. And will invest in defense production.
China will also build modern structures to secure Iran's borders so that Iranian borders can be protected from criminals and human traffickers. It is said that in 2016, during a visit to Iran, the Chinese president offered a broader cooperation agreement to Iranian leaders. When Western leaders adopted a cold shoulder, Iran had no choice but to accept China's offer.
The Iranian observer said that in the last few years, all avenues had been closed due to sanctions on Iran, in which case only China was open. A financial adviser to Iranian Supreme Commander Ayatollah Khamenei mentioned the need for an agreement on Iranian TV. "Iran's economy was weakened by sanctions and oil production and shipments were severely affected.
In order to improve The Iranian economy, it was necessary to increase oil production. Our goal was to achieve this," he said. There was no better option than China to achieve the target of 8.5 million barrels per day of oil production and consumption at the same rate, and we chose that.
The Western media is also hinting that this agreement between the two ancient civilizations of Asia can be called a historical document in a way and of course this agreement can have profound effects in the future.
Western media has described Iran as an important country in the region and a country with huge oil reserves. Undoubtedly, Iran has inherited great civilizations in the region. Archaeological sites dating back to 4,000 BC have been discovered in Iran. Iranian culture has had a profound effect on Asia and the Middle East
